This exhibition is a fresh presentation and organization of Wang Yuyang’s painting practice spanning over a decade. His paintings are diverse and complex in language and concept, deconstructing and subverting traditional painting while creating contemporary imagery that blends human, non-human, and nature. The themes of the works include the deconstruction and representation of light, the extension and overlay of time, the creation and destruction of machines, and the threshold and migration of artificial nature. The exhibition showcases the artist’s anxiety and questioning towards traditional art mediums in the context of ‘human-technology-nature’, while also encompassing his love for painting that originates from the depths of life. Open from November 7th to January 5th, with specific business hours subject to daily opening conditions.
