The Minhang District Museum, in partnership with the Confucius Museum, is set to explore various aspects of Confucius’s life and legacy. The exhibition will cover the historical context of his time, his personal life, and the enduring impact of his wisdom and teachings.

The primary objective of this exhibition is to offer a profound understanding of Confucius’s historical and cultural significance. It also aims to highlight his pivotal role in the perpetuation of Confucian education and to foster an appreciation for the rich tapestry of ancient Chinese culture.

Visitors can expect to see over a hundred cultural relics on display, with notable pieces such as the Double Beasts Swallowing a Bird Silver-Inlaid Bronze Cane Head from the Warring States period, a leisurely portrait of Confucius, ‘Saint Traces’ drawings from the Ming Dynasty, Lu Zhongqi’s Bronze Ding, an Animal-Face Patterned Filigree Enamel Zun from the Qing Dynasty, and the Qing Dynasty’s Fengtian Imperial Edict Box.

The exhibition will run from September 28th to December 15th. Please note that the specific business hours may vary depending on the conditions on the day.
