ShanghART’s new space, ShanghART Suhe, will present its inaugural exhibition ‘Flowing Selves’ on November 8, 2024. The exhibition gathers works by six young artists—Gao Yingpu, Ge Hui, Jiang Xiaoyu, Shao Yuxuan, Wang Qiqi, and Xie Kun—who use painting as a medium to offer their unique interpretations of contemporary individuals and their bodily landscapes. The exhibition aims to explore the ever-flowing and changing present, examining how the body becomes an acting subject for expressing existence and emotions, as well as the intersection of spirit and flesh, convergence, and dispersion. The exhibition will be open from November 8 to December 1, with specific business hours subject to daily opening conditions.
