When we look into the deep space of the universe, we are looking back into the past. The mysteries of the universe are all in the starlight. The interpretation of the mysteries of starlight from the depths of the universe is like a ‘cosmic archaeology’ that travels through time and space. How will scientists and artists have different understandings of the secrets of starlight? Cross-disciplinary exchanges and cooperation have led to 25 unique artistic creations in ‘Cosmic Archaeology’.

The core exhibits of the ‘Cosmic Archaeology’ exhibition are jointly created by the Experimental Museology Laboratory (eM+) and the Laboratory of Astrophysics (LASTRO) of EPFL in Switzerland. The Swiss National Image Committee, Beijing Yuanzhen Culture Co., Ltd., the Department of Astronomy of Tsinghua University, the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and many Chinese and foreign artists have also provided strong support and help for this exhibition.

Opening hours: May 18 – November 17. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
