Shanghe Flower and Nursery World is located in the southern part of Shanghe County’s new urban area, divided into a flower production area, a flower and tree trading area, a leisure tourism area, and an agricultural culture area. It is a key project for Shanghe to create a national agricultural science and technology park. The flower production area mainly focuses on the breeding and production of precious flowers such as greenhouse anthurium and orchids; the flower and tree trading area mainly sells various bonsai and flowers; the leisure tourism area serves as both a display area for various seedling landscapes in the park and a good place for tourists to relax, fish, and sightsee; the agricultural culture area comprehensively showcases the achievements of Shanghe’s agricultural civilization and the local customs of the drum town. The sixth Shandong Province Flower Expo is hosted by the People’s Government of Shandong Province, undertaken by the Shandong Provincial Forestry Department and Jinan Municipal People’s Government, and specifically implemented by the Shanghe County People’s Government. The exhibition time is from September 28 to October 7, 2016, and the exhibition venue is Shanghe Flower and Nursery World, mainly displaying cut flower materials, potted flowers, lawn plants, foliage plants, bonsai, seedlings, flower arrangement art, dried flowers, substrates, gardening tools,观赏 stones, and ornamental fish. The theme of the exhibition is ‘Hot Spring Flower Town Ecological Shanghe’, and the flower of the meeting is the lotus.
