Shanglianggang Scenic Area is located in the heart of the Siming Mountains in Eastern Zhejiang, just 7 kilometers away from the famous Xuedou Temple. The area boasts abundant forest resources, covering 13,379 acres of trees and over 1,000 species of plants, with some ancient trees being over a thousand years old and a forest coverage rate of 90%. The area is rich in the beneficial negative oxygen ions, which are more than 1,100 times higher than those found in ordinary cities.

The summer temperatures rarely exceed 28 degrees Celsius, with an average temperature of only 23 degrees in July and August, making it an ideal summer retreat and earning it the reputation of ‘Shangri-La of Eastern Zhejiang’. In addition to summer retreats and winter skiing, the area offers a variety of activities and excellent sports facilities, making it an ideal place for tourists seeking an active holiday.

On the southern mountaintop of the area, clouds and mist linger all year round, and when the wind blows, the sea of clouds rolls and surges into the valleys. On clear days, standing on the mountaintop, one can see the architectural complex of Ningbo city. Originally a barren grass mountain with 13,000 acres of land, Shanglianggang features two large rocks standing upright at the base of a steep cliff, with a 2-meter long stone bridge across the top, known as the ‘Fairy Bridge’. Not far from the peak, there is a ‘Central Western-style House’ with brick walls and a lead roof.
