The Duobaojiang Temple in Shangyu is a branch of the Duobaojiang Temple in Sanmen. It is located in the mountain col of Longshan in Baiguan Town and faces the Cao’e River. The temple covers a small area of only 37 mu. Four halls are arranged on the central axis in the planning. In sequence, they are: mountain gate (also serving as Maitreya Hall and Dharma Protector Hall), Mahavira Hall, Master Hall (including Medicine Master Hall and Chanting Hall), and Sutra Depository. The wing rooms on both sides are respectively monk quarters (including abbot’s building), guest hall, meditation hall, and bell and drum towers. It has now been rated as a provincial-level key open temple. Opening hours: Open from 8:00 to 17:00 all year round.
