Shangyu Museum is located at the summit of Alarm Hill on Renmin Middle Road in the urban area.
The museum features four main exhibitions: ‘Shangyu Yue Porcelain’, ‘Tianxiang Building Steles and Corridor’, ‘Shangyu City High-Tech Product Exhibition’, and ‘Liang Zhu Cultural Display’.
The ‘Shangyu Yue Porcelain’ exhibition primarily showcases ceramic wares from the Hemudu culture to the Northern Song Dynasty, reflecting the history of Shangyu Yue Kiln from its inception, maturity, development, to decline.
The ‘Liang Zhu Cultural Display’ mainly uses maps, photographs, and artifacts to showcase the geographical environment and cultural relics of Yingtai’s hometown.
With its unique exterior wall design, integrated layout of the museum and garden, and rich displays, the museum has become a beautiful landscape in Shangyu City.
Opening hours: Tuesday-Sunday 08:30-11:45 and 14:00-16:45 all year round; Monday is closed all day.
