Shantou Museum is a comprehensive museum. The museum is located in Zhongshan Park with an elegant and quiet environment. Established in 1960, it is the main collection, publicity and education institution and scientific research institution for cultural relics and specimens in Chaoshan area. It is also an important patriotic education base and youth education service base in Shantou.
