The Shaoguan Nanling Red Desert Scenic Area is located in Shixing County, Shaoguan City. The scenic area features several distinctive activities, including leisure sightseeing, hiking camping, film photography, and scientific exploration. It is designed with seven scenic spots symbolizing fortune, prosperity, longevity, happiness, wealth, wisdom, and virtue, along with a total length of over 200 meters of ancient-style city walls and more than 80 meters of indoor corridors. The area is open all year round from 09:00 to 17:30 daily.
