Shell Dream World is located at the entrance of Gusheng Cave, boasting beautiful scenery. The scenic area houses more than 6,800 kinds of shells from countries such as the United States, Australia, and Southeast Asia. This is a theme park themed around shells. Inside the cave, a combination of multimedia, sound, light, and electricity is used, integrating the virtual and the real.
The Shell Museum is located within Shell Dream World on Gulangyu Island. With its collection of over 6,800 kinds of shells, mainly representative snails like Martyn’s Trumpet, Cowrie, Golden Cowrie, and Brandy Volute, it allows for a deep understanding of the basic form, typical characteristics, and basic classification of shells. It also showcases anecdotes about shell collecting by shell collectors from around the world. Some of the precious collections in the museum are only used for annual shell academic exchanges.

Shell Dream World was innovatively transformed from the former Yingxiongshan Air Defense Cave and renamed Gulang Cave. It has been carefully crafted into a multimedia adventure theme park. Follow Mr. Morgan, the explorer, to search for the mysterious Shell Fairy. After the faintly visible mysterious shell phantoms appear, the oyster shell house life of coastal fishermen who work at sunrise and rest at sunset unfolds.

A beautiful melody of “The Waves of Gulangyu” attracts us to the Shell Theater driven by the Shell Fairy. Amidst the interlacing of light and shadow, a mysterious force leads us into the ancient submarine hut and to the deepest part of the ocean. The mermaid sways her beautiful figure and tells us about the mysterious passage ahead. After a dizzying flash of light and shadow, the Gate of Time opens, and the teleportation vortex takes us into the ancient ocean exuding the charm of history and culture, where the kaleidoscope of underwater shells blooms!

This legendary and thrilling journey gives Shell Dream World a unique advantage and makes it a representative name card of Gulangyu.
