Shengshui Lake Peach Blossom Island is one of the rural tourism bases in the Shengshui Lake Modern Agricultural Park in Yongchuan District. It is supported by scientific research institutions such as Southwest University and Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and strictly follows the cultivation requirements for green food. There are 11 varieties including oil peach, summer fragrance, and Bo Ling honey, with different flowering times that extend the flowering season to nearly 40 days.
The park’s circular road passes through the bougainvillea flower corridor, leading directly to the banks of Shengshui Lake, where visitors can enjoy the boundless scenery. Tourists can partake in open-air barbecues, taste local home-cooked dishes, and experience the rural life of picking specialty fruits and vegetables. From May to August is the peach picking season, with a wide variety of peaches available in the base, which are sweet and delicious. Visitors can bring their families to pick peaches during this period, stroll through the beautiful scenery of Peach Blossom Island, and feel the beauty of nature and the joy of labor.
