Shengshuigong, also known as Yuxu Temple, is located in Kongjia Village, Fengjia Town, Rushan City, and is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit listed in the ‘Chinese Dictionary of Famous Scenic Spots’.
Surrounded by a tapestry of mountains, with peculiar peaks, secluded valleys, profound forests, and rushing springs, it is commonly referred to as the ‘Little Kunyu’, and has been renowned for its unique mountains and waters since ancient times, with an abundance of natural and cultural landscapes.
It features constructions such as Yuxu Temple, a cultural exchange center, individual health preservation areas, Taoyuan Villa, a bathing center, a herbal garden, and a green agricultural planting area.
According to historical records and steles, a temple named ‘Shengshuigong’ was built here during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty.
It reached its peak during the Jin and Yuan dynasties and was one of the three sacred sites of the Quanzhen School of Taoism.
It is open all year round from 6:00 to 19:00.
