Asia’s No.1 Oxygen Bar – Zhulian Waterfall. The waterfall cascades down from a height of 48.2 meters, just like a curtain made of water droplets, hence its name. During the falling process of the water flow, water molecules collide with stones to generate a large amount of negative oxygen ions. According to experts’ determination, the content of negative oxygen ions in the air in the Zhulian Waterfall area is as high as 136,426 per cubic centimeter, and the instantaneous peak value is as high as 228,000 per cubic centimeter.
It is a place with very high negative oxygen ions in Asia and is therefore known as ‘Asia’s No.1 Oxygen Bar’.Jiaoshi Forest Farm. Jiaoshi Forest Farm is a famous gathering place for metasequoia in the Shennonggu scenic area and also a newly emerging popular check-in place. There are lush large bamboo forests here, as well as colorful metasequoia forests in autumn, and there are also ancient yew trees. The forest farm is rarely visited and is the core forest resource of the Shennonggu scenic area.
Shu Baoshi Scenic Area. A huge Castanopsis tibetana tree (also known as Zhili). According to experts’ determination, this tree is more than 1,500 years old. It is 19 meters high and has a breast diameter of 2.01 meters. It is named Shu Baoshi because its main root tightly wraps a huge stone. At the root of this ancient tree, two sub-trees of equal size grow side by side and soar into the sky. Therefore, local people also call it ‘Dragon Mother Gives Birth to Twins’.
Tianxinli Scenic Area. Hunan’s highest waterfall – Shennong Waterfall is a rather spectacular and inspiring waterfall among many waterfalls in the Shennonggu scenic area. The waterfall has a drop of 235.2 meters and falls in three tiers. Among the blue sky, green mountains and green trees, it is like a white silk ribbon dancing in the air, and also like a cloud dragon flying into the pool. It is the waterfall with the largest drop in Hunan Province.
Opening hours: Open from 07:30 to 18:00 from July 1st to August 31st; open from 08:00 to 18:00 from September 1st to October 31st; open from 08:00 to 17:30 from November 1st to April 30th; open from 08:00 to 18:00 from May 1st to June 30th.
Preferential policies: Children: Children under 1.2 meters (excluding) who do not occupy seats are free. Minors: Minors aged 14 (inclusive) to 18 (excluding) are half price. Students: Full-time undergraduate and below students can enjoy half price with valid certificates. The elderly: Those aged 60 (inclusive) to 65 (excluding) can enjoy half price with senior citizen card or ID card. Preferential groups: 1. Active-duty/military veterans. 2. Three categories of relatives: relatives of martyrs, relatives of military personnel who died on duty, and relatives of military personnel who died of illness. With valid certificates. 3. The elderly aged 65 (inclusive) and above can enjoy free admission with senior citizen card or ID card. 4. Children under 14 years old (excluding) and taller than 1.2 meters (inclusive). 5. Disabled people can enjoy free admission with valid certificates. 6. Retired military cadres can enjoy free admission with valid certificates.
