Time flies as the seasons change, and it seems like only yesterday when I last saw your lovely faces at my live show, and now it’s time for us to meet again. This year, I graduated with an MBA and started working, signed with a record label, and produced many new works that I really like, with more in the pipeline. Have you also grown well this year? I am confident in everything I do and consider myself a genius, but when it comes to calculating and planning my music career, I am down-to-earth. The music industry has a significant survivor bias; those who appear before you are one in a million. Behind the scenes, there are many talented individuals who, due to practical reasons, cannot continue. It is precisely because I love it so much that I have not gambled my survival on it, but have made up my mind to support my music on my own. This allows me to keep the prices of live shows and merchandise low, so that those who want to support me are not hindered by cost. I have a short attention span for everything, but when it comes to wanting to create forever and include those who resonate with my creations in my life, I can be a long-termist. If my music career could last another ten years, touring 1-2 cities each year, then together we could explore many interesting places in China over the next decade. How wonderful that would be. I am reckless and carefree in everything I do, but when it comes to whether I will truly be loved for my creations, I am hesitant and dare not think about it deeply, because this is the only path to ecstasy I desperately desire. According to past experiences, desires always lead to greed and disappointment; it is only without desires that one can be strong. Regardless of whether you come to see me or not, I will not change my plan of at least ten years, so objectively, we have many next times. However, life is unpredictable, can we make it this time?
