The exhibition, themed around the ancient text ‘Shan Hai Jing’, offers visitors an immersive experience through ancient manuscripts, educational science, artistic exhibits, interactive light and shadow, and cultural creative experiences, showcasing the unique charm of this ‘strange book’.
Entitled ‘Exploring the Shan Hai Jing’, the immersive art exhibition features eight themed areas: ‘Overview of Mountains and Seas’, ‘Ink Mountains and Seas’, ‘Mythical Beasts of Mountains and Seas’, ‘Hidden Gods of Mountains and Seas’, ‘World Geography’, ‘Light and Shadow of Mountains and Seas’, ‘Cultural Creations of Mountains and Seas’, and ‘VR World’. Through various artistic expressions such as ancient manuscripts, original paintings, artistic sculptures, installations, multimedia light and shadow, VR experiences, and cultural creative interactions, visitors can learn about the strange animals, plants, myths, peculiar countries, and geographical features recorded in the ‘Shan Hai Jing’, bringing the fantastical world of the book to life.

As a leading exhibition IP brand in the field of ‘Shan Hai Jing’ themes and ‘Chinese fantasy mythology’, the ‘Exploring the Shan Hai Jing’ series has been developed and created over four years, continuously exploring the cultural content centered on the ‘Shan Hai Jing’. The exhibition is open from 10:00 to 22:00 from November 15th to May 5th.
