The Shenzhen River, with its main source being the Subaoyuan River, originates from Niuweiling and flows through Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It flows from the northeast to the southwest into the Shenzhen Bay and empties into the Lingdingyang. The middle and lower reaches of the river serve as the boundary between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It is open all year round and available 24 hours a day.
