Located by the picturesque Xili Lake, Shenzhen Safari Park covers an area of over 600,000 square meters. It is an open-range zoo that integrates wildlife protection, exhibition, breeding, and environmental science education. As a national AAAA-level scenic spot and a national science education base, it houses over 300 species of wildlife, nearly ten thousand animals including giant pandas, giant anteaters, giraffes, Siberian tigers, fennec foxes, African lions, Asian elephants, golden snub-nosed monkeys, Chinese alligators, dolphins, seals, and sea lions from around the world.
Attractions such as the ‘Panda Manor’ where national treasures display their cuteness, the ‘Big Cat Corridor’ where tigers walk in the air, the ‘Valley of Beasts’ where tigers and lions roar, the ‘Monkey Islands’ where gibbons and golden snub-nosed monkeys sing across the water, the ‘Swan Lake’ where various swans swim freely, the ‘Jellyfish Kingdom’ where millions of jellyfish bloom gracefully, and the ‘Ice and Snow World’ where you can enjoy ice sculptures and ice skating are scattered throughout the park. There are also the ‘African Corner’, ‘Giant Anteater Pavilion’, ‘Wild Elephant Valley’, ‘Kangaroo Garden’, ‘Lemur Island’, ‘Crocodile Bay’, and ‘Magellanic Penguin Island’ among many other featured exhibition areas.
