Shenzhen Bus Group has put 10 sightseeing buses into service, operating on 3 themed routes: red, blue, and yellow. The red line focuses on Shenzhen’s culture, the blue line highlights Shenzhen’s technology and ecology, and the yellow line showcases Shenzhen’s night lights. The sightseeing bus, known as the ‘Red Fat Guy’ due to its red exterior, offers nearly 360-degree views from inside. It incorporates holographic immersive projection technology, 360-degree panoramic cameras, 5G+VR technology, and each seat is equipped with a headphone jack.
Passengers can enjoy commentary in 8 languages including Chinese, English, Japanese, and French, as well as views of the passing landscape. Operating hours are from 09:00 to 17:00 all year round; from 17:00 to 21:30 with preferential policies. Children under 1.4 meters in height enter for free. Elderly people aged 60 and above can enjoy a 40% discount with a senior citizen card or ID. Full-time primary and secondary school students with a student ID also receive a 40% discount.
