Shenzhen Stadium was invested and constructed by the Shenzhen Municipal Government in 1985. The stadium covers an area of 21,200 square meters. Surrounded by lush flora, it remains evergreen throughout the year. The tranquil and spacious square, along with the verdant green belts, create a harmonious and beautiful environment.
Directly opposite the main entrance on the South Square stands a large stainless steel sculpture depicting the Chinese Women’s Volleyball Team, named ‘Striving’. On the west square, facing the stadium’s grand wall, is a flat relief made of black jade stone titled ‘Olympic Light’. During events, spectators can ascend to the second-floor platform through the broad steps on the south, north, and west sides of the stadium.
The stadium is open all year round from 08:00 to 22:00. However, it is temporarily closed, and details should be confirmed with the official notice of the scenic area. The stadium is only open to the public during performance events and remains closed at other times.
