The Large-scale Digital Exhibition of ‘Return to Pompeii’ on Historical Sites was held at the Shekou Sea World Culture and Arts Center in Shenzhen from September 30, 2024 to March 3, 2025. Through more than 30 4K projection devices and VR technology, the Pompeii exhibition in the Grand Palais in Paris was restored on a 1:1 scale, reproducing Pompeii as it was 2,000 years ago, including details such as streets, buildings, and murals, allowing visitors to have an immersive experience.
Immersive experience: The perfect combination of digital images and sound effects makes visitors feel as if they are in the ancient Roman world a thousand years ago. Volcanic eruption scene: A multi-sensory interactive experience of the approaching volcano, simulating the whole process of the volcanic eruption, is shocking on-site. Wearing VR devices, visitors can search for treasures in the courtyard 2,000 years ago and feel the prosperity of ancient civilizations.
