The Shi Chuanxiang Memorial Hall is located in the northeastern part of Qihe County. The memorial hall, constructed with a brick-concrete structure, stands at a height of 9.9 meters and measures 28.8 meters in length, with a total construction area of 1501.6 square meters.
The building’s octagonal floor plan symbolizes all directions, embodying the spirit of Shi Chuanxiang, which translates to ‘Willing to be dirty for one to bring cleanliness to thousands.’ The memorial hall is divided into two levels. The first floor houses the memorial hall, a video room, a resource room, and a reception room, with a bust of Shi Chuanxiang placed in the hall. The second floor features a circular exhibition hall, capable of accommodating up to 500 visitors at a time. The museum displays over 380 pictures and exhibits more than a hundred artifacts related to Shi Chuanxiang’s deeds. Opening hours are from Monday to Friday, 09:00-11:00 and 14:30-17:30; the museum is closed on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year.
