Shi Dafu Ancestral Hall, commonly known as Shangchuan Ancestral Hall, is the family temple of the brothers Wang Shuguo and Shu Gao, belonging to the fourth branch of the Yingqiao Wang clan. It is named Shi Dafu Ancestral Hall because their grandfather Wang Xiqiao and their uncle Wang Ji, along with the brothers’ entire family of three generations, were all honored as doctors. A pair of stone lions are placed in front of the temple, with an outer wall encircling it. Above the main entrance, there is a wooden plaque inscribed with ‘Shi Dafu Ancestral Hall,’ which was originally bestowed by Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty.
The central hall consists of three bays, above which are the imperial edicts and other decrees from Emperor Wanli.
