Shiling Village is located in the southwest of Baofu Town, bordered by Shangshu Township to the east, adjacent to Lin’an City to the south, and connected to the Longwangshan Scenic Area to the west. It boasts convenient transportation, a serene environment, and fresh air. The total area of the village is 35 square kilometers, including 33,000 acres of forest land (9,990 acres of Mao bamboo forest, and 20,117 acres of provincial ecological public welfare forest).
The village is rich in forest resources, particularly known for its local specialties such as walnuts, dried bamboo shoots, and tea, which have gained some fame in Anji. As a fully mountainous village, Shiling Village has leveraged its unique characteristics and resource advantages to plan and develop eco-tourism. It has developed the ‘Great Han Seventy-Two Peaks’ scenic area, which has spurred the growth of distinctive ‘agritourism’ businesses. By the end of 2011, more than 50 agritourism establishments had been developed. The village is open all year round and available 24/7.Shiling Village – A Hidden Gem for Eco-Tourism
