Donghu Port Scenic Area, a masterpiece of nature, is enchantingly beautiful and located in Shidu Park within the Fangshan World Geopark. It is situated by the Ju Ma River at the fifteenth crossing, adjacent to Yesanpo, and is conveniently positioned 106 kilometers away from the city center. The area is renowned for its high waterfalls, numerous pools, secluded valleys, and fragrant forests, earning it the reputation of “Secluded Valley Cascades, Sandalwood Oxygen Bar.”
Upon entering the scenic area, one is immediately surrounded by extraordinary peaks and lush greenery. Cascading silver waterfalls plunge into pools below, and strolling along the ancient paths through the secluded valley, one can listen to the gentle stream flowing beside the path, creating an experience akin to a magnificent landscape painting. The harmonious blend of mountains and waters unfolds before your eyes, elevating you amidst the beautiful scenery.
A standout feature of the area is the 369-meter-long, 600-meter-high Seven-Colored Glass Planks, built against the cliffs of Cuiping Peak. These planks resemble a rainbow bridge leading to the clouds, appearing and disappearing in the mist, like a golden mountain with a jade belt. Walking on them feels like strolling in the clouds, placing oneself in a fairyland.
Additionally, the Seven-Colored Drift, which is 2680 meters long with a drop of 108 meters, is built along the mountainside. It features varying heights, twists and turns, and the Tai Chi Bagua pattern swirls, like a colorful rainbow suspended in the canyon. Looking into the distance at the colorful path with boats flowing evokes the ancients’ “Winding Stream and Cups” interest.Donghu’s colorful suspension bridge drifts among the mountains and waters, stirring the dreams of life and turning into a fairy in the scenery. The Donghu Flyer spans across the Ju Ma River, allowing your heart to fly and your dreams to set sail. At the eastern gate, which opens towards the sun, you are greeted by lake views and mountain colors that fill your emotions.
