Located in the Hou Shiwu Scenic Area of Mount Tai, a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site, there are numerous ‘rivers’ composed of stones, known as Shihe. These stone rivers have captured the interest of an increasing number of tourists due to their unique landscapes and the ongoing investigation into their formation.
Most of the stone rivers at Mount Tai are situated above an altitude of 1100 meters in valleys, consisting of stones of various sizes. They flow down the valleys with a grand and magnificent momentum, presenting a spectacular sight.
The site is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
