Shima Town is located in the west of Jiangjin District. Because there is a large stone package at the lower entrance of the town that looks like a toad, commonly known as ‘toad stone’, it is named after this. Shima Town is the first town where the Yangtze River enters Chongqing. Zhongba Island in Yangshi Community of this town is the first island where the Yangtze River enters Chongqing. Shima Town is also a place in Chongqing where olives are planted on a large scale. The olive planting area has reached 50,000 mu and it is named ‘the hometown of olives’.
