The Shiya Ding Tiankeng is located in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, bordering Luogang in Huangpu. There are a total of two pits, one large and one small, adjacent to each other and located in the mountains. Around the tiankeng, the traces of past mining and excavation are still obvious. The meandering tractor road extends all the way to the edge of the pit. The beauty of the tiankeng is no less than the Tianchi in Liupianshan. The causes of the two are the same. They are both pits left by quarrying. Over the years, rainwater accumulates and forms a large pool tiankeng.
