Shougang Extreme Park is the first outdoor sports venue themed around extreme sports, established in collaboration with the China Skating Association, the China Mountaineering Association, and Shougang. It is located in the northeast of the Shougang Park North District, adjacent to the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee’s office area, near the Shijingshan Beixin’an transportation hub, and connected to the Subway Line 6, S1 Line, and M11 Line (Winter Olympic Branch Line), making it highly accessible.
The park encompasses a rock climbing area, a skateboarding area, and a leisure area, covering a total area of 17,900 square meters. It is currently the largest outdoor skateboarding and rock climbing venue in Beijing, capable of meeting the venue requirements for international-level professional competition events.
Built on the foundations of the old industrial heritage within the Shougang Park, Shougang Extreme Park is a fusion of industrial elements and fashionable extreme sports.
Opening Hours: The park is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Rock climbing is available from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; skateboarding is available from Tuesday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
