Shouguang Polar Ocean World is located 2 kilometers south of the concert hall on Jinhai South Road, Shouguang City. It is shaped like a huge jellyfish, stretching its body and swimming on the bank of Mihe River in Shouguang, implying the ‘harmonious development of people and the ocean’. Shouguang Polar Ocean World is a large-scale service complex integrating marine life tourism, popular science education, technological experience, children’s amusement, catering and leisure.
The first and second floors are the oceanarium, which houses hundreds of rare polar and marine creatures such as dolphins, penguins, sharks, jellyfish, crocodiles, arctic foxes, arctic wolves, and marine characteristic fishes. Service items include dolphin theater performances that can accommodate 1500 audiences, mermaid performances, visits to the underwater tunnel, experiences in the magical jellyfish palace, experiences in the children’s touch pool, experiences in children’s interactive projection, experiences in rainforest landscapes, and experiences in fish feeding. There are hundreds of lovely small animals such as Angora ferrets, North American raccoons, kangaroos, alpacas, meerkats, macaws, and green iguanas around. You can watch wonderful performances of various animals in the performance field and enjoy the duel of rhinoceros beetles. You can feed and interact with small birds.
