Shuangfan Stone, located within the Xiangshuwan Scenic Area, is one of the maritime baseline points announced by China to the world in 1996. It is celebrated as a sacred marine spectacle on the 18th parallel north.
Shuangfan Stone is also an ideal spot for diving, with diving clubs available for both free diving and scuba diving excursions. The best sea conditions at Shuangfan Stone occur from June to September, when the winds and waves are relatively calm, underwater visibility is high, and the water temperature remains stable between 24-28 degrees Celsius. Diving sites range in depth from 5 to 30 meters.
