Shuanghuan Pavilion, also known as Shuanghuan Wanshou Pavilion, is a historical landmark located in the Temple of Heaven Park. It can be found at No. 7 Dongli, Dongcheng District, Beijing.
This pavilion has a rich history, as it was originally situated in Zhongnanhai. Emperor Qianlong commissioned its construction to celebrate his mother’s 50th birthday. Later, in 1977, the pavilion was relocated to its current location within the Temple of Heaven.
The Shuanghuan Pavilion is open to the public all year round, allowing visitors to explore its architectural beauty and historical significance at any time of the day.
