The Wong Tai Sin Ancestral Palace is arranged from south to north as follows: stone screen wall, stone archway, Lingguan Hall, bell tower, altar, drum tower, main hall, Sanqing Hall, and Qixian Hall. In the south, there are five entrances. The stone screen wall is 18 meters long and 4.8 meters high, with magnificent momentum. In 1996, there was thunder in a clear sky, rain fell in the palace, and then the sun shone brightly in a clear sky. Second, the wonder of sound. At the altar in front of the palace, when people talk to each other, the sounds are harmonious and resonant, which is called ‘heavenly sound’. Third, the wonder of divination sticks. Since the palace was opened for pilgrimage, those with good luck have never received bad divination sticks, and those with bad luck have never received good divination sticks. In all the events in the world, big or small, they directly point to the key points. Wong Tai Sin’s name is Chupu. He was born on August 13th in the third year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (328 AD). He was a good and careful shepherd since childhood. At the age of 15, he was led by an immortal master into a stone cave in Jinhua Mountain to practice. Wong Tai Sin practiced in the stone cave for forty years and cultivated the spell of turning stones into sheep. Later, he and his elder brother practiced until they were five hundred years old and achieved the ability of having no shadow at noon and ascended to immortality.
