Shuangqiao Park is located at No. 23 Shuanglong West Road, Shuangqiao District, Chongqing, covering an area of approximately 100 acres. To meet the needs of citizens for sightseeing, rest, entertainment, and cultural activities, the park has been divided into several areas including a scenic viewing and rest area, a water scenery area, a recreational activity area, a cultural activity area, and a management service area. In 2004, Shuangqiao Park was rated as a second-tier standard park in Chongqing.
To improve the construction of a science popularization education base for young people, a science exhibition area has been established, a new set of plant knowledge information boards has been built, and signs have been made for each type of plant. Dedicated science popularization staff are assigned to provide plant knowledge explanations for primary and secondary school students who visit. The park receives more than 2,000 students annually, enriching the extracurricular practice activities for young people and fostering their love and closeness to nature.
The park is open all day, every day from January 1st to December 31st.
