Shuangshan Island, locally known as Qingwan Zai, is located in Macun, Xi Tou Town, at the southern foot of Long Gaoshan. It is a bay 25 kilometers away from the county town, accessible via Zhiyang Highway and Xima Highway. The beach is vast and lengthy, with soft sand quality, lush coastal protection forests, and rugged rocks along the shore. Shuangshan Bay is filled with diverse reefs, home to a variety of valuable fish and shellfish, making it a breeding and protection area for sea urchins and lobsters. The Guangdong Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries has established the first artificial fish reef in the province here. Visitors can enjoy bathing, diving to explore the wonders, fishing, and shell collecting, providing endless enjoyment.
