Shuangyue Bay, named for its crescent shape when viewed from above, is located in Pinghai Town, Huidong. The bay is divided into two distinct parts; the left bay is as calm as a mirror, while the right bay is known for its roaring waves, a truly unique sight. Strolling along the beach, you may occasionally bend down to pick up shells or dig in the sand to catch crabs… truly experiencing the intimate contact with nature. The seawater is crystal clear, the seabed is flat, and the arc-shaped white sandy beach has fine, glittering, and clean sand, offering endless fun.
You can also embark on a fishing trip led by local fishermen, feeling the sea breeze and stepping on the waves, experiencing the joy of fishing firsthand and enjoying the festive atmosphere of people and leaping fish, which is sure to yield a bountiful catch. The catch can be taken back to a restaurant for processing at an additional cost, or you can have a meal prepared by the boatman, for an extra fee. The bay is open all year round from 07:00 to 18:00.
