Shuangzhongci Street is located to the north of Jiangjunmiao Street. Residential houses are distributed on both sides. In the early Qing Dynasty, the Shuangzhongci was built on the street. It was established to commemorate Shandong governor Song Xuezhu and Licheng county magistrate Han Chengxuan who died in Jinan at the end of the Ming Dynasty. There were originally four magnificent monuments in the temple, all written by famous writers. Unfortunately, they all disappeared later. After years of wind and rain, Shuangzhongci has now been abandoned. At the entrance of Shuangzhongci Street, there is an ancient spring. The marble is used for building the railing. The three characters ‘Shuangzhong Spring’ are engraved on the upper end of the pool wall. Although the temple has been abandoned, history remains. The spring water is a witness. The gate tower of Courtyard 21, Shuangzhongci Street is magnificent. The high relief on the cornice stone and the plinth is very exquisite. The door pillow stone and the horse tethering stone are well preserved and have great historical value. It is said that this was the residence of a brigade commander named Cui in the past. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
