Shukou Ecological Island is a golden leaf emerging along the thousand-mile Ganjiang River, located in Shukouzhou, Taihe County, Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province, covering a total area of 12.85 square kilometers.
This ancient oasis is surrounded by water on all sides, bordered by Ganjiang River to the southeast and Shushui River to the northwest, making it an ecological pearl that integrates ‘green, ancient, and blue’ along the thousand-mile Ganjiang River.
It is a scenic island on the river with a rich cultural heritage, featuring colorful waters and a leisurely paradise that combines ancient village culture, ecological sightseeing, waterfront recreation, study and expansion, parent-child entertainment, water entertainment, rural experience, and travel and vacation.
Shukou Ecological Island is rich in resources, with main attractions including: Shujiang Ancient Village, A Square Courtyard, Millennium Camphor Tree, Nanzhuang Garden, Chongde Hall, Fuhan Hall, Binjiang Boardwalk, Shukou Ecological Avenue, Landscape Water System, and Zhongzhou Island Leisure Resort.
The opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:30 all year round.
