Shunfeng Mountain Park is one of the ‘New Top Ten Scenic Spots’ in Shunde, located at the foot of Taiping Mountain in the northwestern part of the new district of Shunde, Foshan City. The park, which began construction in 1999, is a modern tourist attraction integrating tourism, leisure, and entertainment. It is also an ideal place for escaping the heat and enjoying the cool.
The construction of the park emphasizes the theme of ‘mountain hues and water rhymes’, fully considering the characteristics of Shunfeng Mountain’s genuine mountains and waters, as well as its profound cultural and historical heritage. It cleverly utilizes the natural spatial layout and historical sites such as the Old Stockade Tower and Qingyun Tower, creating a natural and cultural landscape pattern of ‘green mountains, clear waters, one temple, two lakes, and two towers’ based on the topography of the mountains.
The main tourist axis of the park includes two lakes (Qingyun Lake District and Guipan Lake District) and two towers (Qingyun Tower and Old Stockade Tower), with uniquely designed scenic spots forming ‘Guihai Fangcong’, ‘Tingzhi Garden’, ‘Bu Yun Jing’, ‘Ya Zheng Garden’, and 24 other scenic areas. The summit of Shunfeng Mountain in the park offers beautiful scenery and is an excellent place to watch clouds and sunrises. Additionally, the Qingyun Tower here is very popular, attracting many devout followers for prayer and worship during festivals.
The park is open from 06:00 to 22:30 all year round, with specific business hours subject to the daily opening status.
