The ‘Zhang Baozai’ sailing ship features two levels. The upper deck offers elegant seating with comfortable, spacious sofas on both sides, allowing guests to enjoy the sea breeze and beverages while reclining. The lower deck is an air-conditioned dining area, furnished with round tables and chairs in a traditional Chinese style, exuding an antique charm. The ship’s signature is its Chinese red mast, and every nail and piece of wood on the vessel is crafted by hand using ancient Chinese shipbuilding techniques, with many details made to resemble the original design.

Zhang Baozai, also known as Zhang Bao, was a native of Xinhui, Jiangmen, who started as a fisherman and later became a pirate in Hong Kong. His story is depicted in the TVB drama ‘Zhang Baozai.’ He once dominated the Pearl River Delta and famously sank 18 Portuguese naval ships in a single battle. Known for his measured and principled conduct, Zhang Baozai gained widespread support, and his fleet rapidly grew to include over 800 large ships and more than 1000 small vessels, amassing a following of 100,000 people at its peak.

The ship is open all year round, operating from 10:00 to 20:30 on weekdays (Monday to Saturday), and from 10:30 to 20:30 on Sundays. Children under the age of 4 enter for free.
