According to the research of relevant experts, Siping Ancient Village, the hometown of Yinnu—the top ten beautiful women’s townships in China—is the most beautiful brick-carved residential area in China. There are many ancient halls in Siping. The whole village is constructed with seven stars accompanying the moon. There were originally 24 halls. Now there are still 8 halls that are relatively complete. The building area is 6,000 square meters, and the ancient residential houses are more than 22,000 square meters. These ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties are influenced by the Huizhou architectural style. The facades of each ancient building are inlaid with thousands of brick carvings, which have high historical, artistic and scientific value. Siping Village was built in the early Ming Dynasty. The ancient buildings have a wide area and a large quantity. The courtyards and buildings are relatively complete. There were originally 24 halls. There are more than 110 beds. There are three large farmhouse restaurants that can accommodate 500 people for dining at the same time. Farmhouse dishes have the flavor of wild animals, organic fish, native chickens, wild vegetables, etc. At the same time, here you can taste the characteristic dishes of Tangxi: scallion-flavored meat that is crispy and delicious without being greasy; the well-prepared famous dish of Tangxi—rotten pickles and boiled tofu. Siping Village now has the earliest rural oil painting art gallery in China. At the same time, it now has the most luxurious large parking lot in rural areas in Zhejiang Province with 80 parking spaces. After visiting Siping Ancient Village, you can also bring rapeseed oil and sweet potatoes from Siping for your relatives and friends to taste. In 2007, Siping Village made new packaging for tourism projects. In addition to seeing brick carvings, according to the characteristics of the four ancient halls, calligraphy and painting exhibitions of domestic celebrities were arranged in Baishun Hall. The scene of the county magistrate trying the water conservancy case of Jingquan Weir was restored and constructed in Liben Hall. A series of pictures of the Japanese invaders carrying out microbial attacks in the Tangxi Town area during the Japanese invasion of China were exhibited in Chonghou Hall. In Hongsi Hall, more than 300 ancient farm tools were exhibited.


Siping Village has established multiple cultural and entertainment venues. A new entertainment square of 2000 square meters and a leisure square of 1500 square meters for villagers have been built for various activities. Additionally, the Anle Temple has been restored. Alongside these, Siping Village has also formed several cultural and sports teams, including folk gong and drum teams, dragon welcoming teams, artistic performance teams, waist drum teams, pony lantern teams, table tennis teams, folk slang collection teams, guide teams, and the restoration of the Siping Ancient Village Wu Opera Troupe, which has specifically written the historical story book ‘Nine Peaks Silver Lady’. The entire site is open from January 1st to December 31st, from 08:30 to 17:00.
