The former command headquarters of the New Fourth Army in the Su-Zhe border region is located across Huaikan and Baixian townships in Changxing County. This site served as the command and support center for the Sixth Division, Sixteenth Brigade of the New Fourth Army, as well as the party, government, and military command organs, and logistics support organizations of the New Fourth Army in the Su-Zhe border region during the later stages of the Anti-Japanese War. It is recognized as one of the more intact, rich in historical significance, and large-scale revolutionary site groups preserved from the Anti-Japanese War period in the Jiangnan area.
The site is accessible to the public year-round, with operating hours from 08:30 to 16:30 daily.
