The Six Rivers Rafting Scenic Area is located in Yangshuwan Village, Jianchang County, Liaoning Province. The natural-formed rafting river stretches 5.8 kilometers with steep cliffs on both sides, green waters forming pools, and clear streams. The scenic area, themed around local Manchu and Mongolian customs, integrates rafting, entertainment, leisure, vacation, and shopping. It offers the thrill of surfing and the joy of playing in water, as well as the opportunity to admire natural landscapes such as Hulu Pool, Dragon Bay Gorge, and Lion Roar Shore.
Additionally, the scenic area features activities like live CS, beach motorbikes, water bubble balls, fishing, and water carts. The Six Rivers is one of the larger rivers in Jianchang County, with a total river length of 91.91 km and a basin area of 47.35, suitable for rafting over 5.8 km. The river spans 17 km within Yangshuwan Village, characterized by high water volume and significant drop.The overall structure of the scenic area is composed of ‘two axes and seven areas’. The two axes are the ‘Six Rivers Landscape Axis and Mao River Landscape Axis’, forming a ‘Y’-shaped layout that disperses landscape elements throughout the area. The 5.8 km river course features 27 bends and 14 rapid points with moderate water flow, offering beautiful scenery along both banks, undulating mountains, shaded trees, varying widths of the riverbed, and alternating straight and curved sections of the river with clear waters. The entire scenic area is surrounded by mountains, with rugged rocks and soft paths.
Visiting the Six Rivers Rafting Scenic Area, one can listen to beautiful legends about the Dragon King and the Phoenix, and enjoy the sight of flocks of ducks playing in the water at any time along the river. The scenic area also offers entertainment options such as archery, wrestling, horse riding, beach motorbikes, water bubble balls, fishing, and water carts, allowing visitors to unleash their passion and return to their primal selves. At night, one can enjoy singing along a ten-mile stretch, lights on both banks, and a boat full of fish feast. For the convenience and service of tourists, the scenic area operates a unified ticket system, complete with a tour map, consultation phone numbers, and other information. The tourist center covers an area of 200 square meters, equipped with a DVD player, panoramic maps of the scenic area, and various promotional materials for tours. It also has a medical room, small item storage, and a driver’s rest room to meet various needs. At the entrance of the scenic area, there is a panoramic map, and directional signs are set up at various intersections and main attractions within the scenic area. The content of the scenic signs is in both Chinese and English, and there are 10 Mandarin-speaking tour guides to meet the needs of visitors. To ensure visitor safety, a special safety working group has been established, with 30 full-time water protection staff, including 12 mobile protection staff, and a safety emergency system and organization have been established for peak tourist seasons. The scenic area has set up three parking lots, located at the rafting service area, the starting service area, and the ending service area, covering an area of 28,800 square meters, capable of accommodating 200 tourist buses and 600 private cars.The parking lot features a beautiful environment and strong scenic area characteristics.
