Beijing Snow World Ski Resort, established in 2000, is the first public winter snow sports and leisure venue in Beijing. It is located at the foot of Phoenix Mountain in the world cultural heritage site and national 5A-level tourist attraction, the Ming Tombs, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. The ski resort covers a total area of 500,000 square meters, with 100,000 square meters dedicated to ski trails, including one beginner, one intermediate, and one practice trail.

The trails are constructed strictly according to international safety standards, taking into account local topography and climate conditions. The resort has invested in tens of millions of yuan in advanced snow-making and grooming machines that lead the industry, and has also purchased over 3,000 sets of high-quality skis, snowboards, and poles, ensuring that all instructors are professionally trained and certified before they start teaching.

The ski trails cover an area of 100,000 square meters, with one practice trail, one beginner trail, and one intermediate trail. The practice trail is 180 meters long with a gradient of 5; the beginner trail is 280 meters long with a gradient of 8; and the intermediate trail is 350 meters long with a gradient of 13. The ski trails are built strictly following international alpine skiing trail safety standards and national ‘Ski Resort Management Regulations’, reducing skiing difficulty and enhancing safety while adding appropriate gradient changes to strengthen the experience and interest for visitors.

There are 2.5-meter-high nylon nets between the ski trails, with one site service person every 5 meters, and a 5-person rescue team patrols the field around the clock, capable of accommodating 6,000 visitors per day. To ensure that every visitor can enjoy their time with peace of mind, there is also a parking lot covering 50,000 square meters that can hold 240 vehicles of various sizes. Adjacent to highways G6 and G7, it takes only 30 minutes to drive from the city center, and the newly opened subway line 13 (Changping Line) is just 3 kilometers away from the ski resort, with bus route Chang 53 providing direct access to the main entrance of the ski resort, making it a ski resort that is close to the city center and conveniently accessible.
