Songhu Flower Sea is a meandering flower belt on the south bank of Songhu Lake, stretching approximately 9,000 meters with a green area covering nearly 1 million square meters. Along the lake shore and the islands, a variety of woody flowers such as peach blossoms, plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, wintersweet, crape myrtle, osmanthus, magnolia, fragrant flower locust, weeping silk begonia, and Xi Fu begonia have been planted, totaling over 200,000 plants.

Additionally, millions of herbaceous aquatic plants like cosmos, lavender, egret grass, iris, lotus, and water lilies have been planted. Spring brings cherry blossoms, summer lotus flowers, autumn osmanthus fragrance, and winter sees the pride of plum blossoms. Surrounding Songhu Lake, every season is filled with the scent of flowers. The area is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
