Located within the Eling Park in Yuzhong District, the Soviet Martyrs’ Cemetery is a monument built to commemorate Colonel Katlov and Colonel Stolv, Soviet pilots who sacrificed their lives during the Chinese Anti-Japanese War. The tombstone stands two stories high, with an upright rectangular shape, adorned with regular patterns of clouds and waves at the base, and inscribed with names in both Chinese and Russian on the body of the monument. The top features a gilded emblem of the former Soviet Union, and there is a separate stone carving nearby that provides an explanation. The tomb is surrounded by a fence, with trees and flower beds encircling it. It is open to the public all year round from 06:00 to 22:00.
