The Shanghai Aerospace Science Popularization and Research Base is located at 3883 Yuanjiang Road, Minhang District. It is affiliated to the Shanghai Academy of Aerospace Technology. It covers an area of about 3000 square meters and was opened in 2019. It caters to both professional visit receptions and science popularization and research activities. The theme cabins of the 603 base, rocket launch experience cabin, Mars exploration mission science popularization cabin, Tiangong space station experiment cabin, and lunar exploration mission science popularization cabin.
The five space cabins are presented in large graffiti containers, deeply restoring the theme characteristics of aerospace tradition, Beidou spirit, lunar exploration journey, Chinese space station, and Long March rocket family.
