Sparrow Tile House, officially known as the Sparrow Tile House Cultural Performance Center, is a renovated factory of the former Beijing Jeep Automobile Co., Ltd., located next to the CBD. It is one of the few remaining industrial “relics” near the Guomao area along the East Third Ring Road. This nearly 3,000 square meter multi-functional performance complex includes the Sparrow Theater, Tile House Theater, MAKO LIVE HOUSE, a bar, a café, an art gallery, and various support spaces such as rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms, and a kitchen. In the factory of one of China’s earliest automobile joint ventures, various live performance products like stage plays, music, opera, and traditional Chinese performances are produced. “LIVE (live shows)” is the fundamental standard for product quality assessment. This venue that integrates various forms of performing arts is open year-round on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 20:30 to 23:30. The scenic area is temporarily closed.
