The fountain hole, also known as the spray hole, is located in Daqingshan Mountain. Whenever a storm surge hits, the surging waves enter the hole and hit the cave wall. The ocean tide swirls and roars inside the cave wall, with the sound spreading for several miles. The momentum is extremely spectacular. There is a small hole at the top of the cave. The incoming and pushing waves enter the cave and are then ejected upward to the cave top, forming a water column as thick as a bowl. It is like a ‘dragon emerging from the water’, soaring into the air. Sometimes it can reach more than 30 meters high. Then the water column scatters like a celestial maiden scattering flowers, filling the sky with water droplets. On a sunny day, a seven-color rainbow appears under the sunlight. Looking up from below, it is dazzlingly brilliant, often thrilling and mesmerizing for tourists.
