St. Mary’s Church, situated opposite the Happy Valley Racecourse on Hong Kong Island, boasts a rich history. Founded by Father Zepherin Nam on February 3, 1923, it was consecrated two years later on January 25, 1925. The church was further elevated to a parish status on January 25, 1949.
Notably, it served as a filming location for the 1990 film ‘A Moment of Romance’, featuring renowned actors Andy Lau and Jacklyn Wu.
